Hey there…

I think I’m now caught up with everything but the ITZ party in early August, and I’ll get to those pictures sometime later in the week probably.

So we have pictures for you to look at from:

• Mykayla in Running Club
• A Father’s Day RR Trip
• Taylor Park in Late June
• Rafting the Arkansas in July
• The Raising of the Backyard Swingset in July
• Horseback Riding in July (Mykayla & Ev)
• Our trip to Monterey, CA for a wedding in August
• The First Day of Second Grade (Mykayla)
•  The Sky Sox game (throwing the first pitch & junior announcer) on August 20

If that doesn’t cover 90% of the pictures I’ve been delinquent in posting, I don’t know what does.

Just a few days ago, we had a rare treat. Banfield hosted a “pups at the park” baseball game during the Sky Sox last home stand. They played the Las Vegas 51s. And though they didn’t win, it was a memorable experience for all involved.

Ev got to throw out the first pitch (and yes, she did make it to the plate, as if you had to ask). And Mykayla was the junior announcer, helping to call out Sky Sox batter names during one inning. She did a great job announcing some of those hard to pronounce baseball player names. We were proud of both of them.

We had a good time and how often do you get to see your wife throw out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game?

Hi all…

In August, we had an opportunity to head to Monterey, CA for a wedding — and leave AJ & Mykayla at Auntie “E”’s house!

We enjoyed the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and a walk around Cannery Row with Kevin & Jen White. We also enjoyed the 17 mile drive around Pebble Beach, which took us to where the wedding was (Church in the Forest, very pretty) and along the Pebble Beach golf course and the Pacific, which was very pretty.

Though we had a good time, I think they enjoyed themselves too (kids + pool = fun)!

Here are a few pics of us with E and Shaun T at Taylor Reservoir. We stayed at the Craner Cabins and rented an ATV. Needless to say, we had a blast.

The ATV was a lot of fun.

Mirror Lake was beautiful as per usual… Very high water.
